Susanne is a multi-talented artist – she studied at McGill University in Montreal majoring in languages and fine arts, then attended a French university for graphic design. She worked at Expo 67 and “Man and His World” in public relations and as a graphic designer, before moving permanently to the West Coast where she owned and operated several galleries.
She has participated in art shows in B.C. and in New York and has several large pieces at the convention centre in Winnipeg as well as in many private and public collections worldwide.
Susanne has a deep connection to the Earth and feels that what we do to the Earth, we do to ourselves. Her late partner and children have First Nations status and she lives guided by many of the traditional teachings.
Adele grew up in contact with the Elements and Nature : when she discovered yoga in 2005, she finally found a discipline that connects the Body – Mind & Soul as much as the outdoor activities she had been practicing since her childhood in France.
Having worked for nearly 10 years in communication & marketing, her very demanding work has pushed her to go several times to the limit of burn-out; yoga and alternative medicine became at that time a real support to keep her life balance.
She tried almost all styles of yoga and studied intensively with recognized masters first in ashtanga and yin yoga and than in Kundalini Yoga, practice that became her passion for its transformative power and has been teaching this powerful technology since 2016.
She is now based in Tofino and has joined the Cedar Coast Centre’s team to develop and guides holistic retreats around what she find that connect us back to our body and spirit : yoga and outdoor activities.
Dan honed his marine instincts fishing and diving up and down the west coast, Vancouver Island and our northern gulf Islands from a very young age.
Leveraging many previous careers including Marine Film Logistics and Adventure Tourism, Dan is our “jack of all trades”. He brings a passion for the wild nature around and an enthusiasm for our corner of the world that keeps everyone having a good time.
