We provide guests, education groups, artists and researchers with accommodation and resources to enjoy and learn from the local ecology of Clayoquot Sound, British Columbia.
We offer accommodation, facility rentals, programs and activities for educational groups, retreats and weddings. Our goal is to provide the resources needed to help create an unforgettable experience, hand in hand with nature.
Throughout the Spring and Fall seasons we deliver place-based ecology programs for k-12 and university school groups. We will also be offering a variety of adult education workshops.
Our off-grid, boat access facility includes comfortable wall tent accommodations, a large dining hall, living room, library, classroom, gymnasium, field lab, shower house, hot tub, and sauna.
Cedar Coast is lucky to have a fantastic team who share a passion and interest for the west coast and its ecology. Being stewards of our home, we wish to deliver the best possible off-grid experience for our guests.
We acknowledge and honour the traditional territories of the Ahousaht, Hesquiaht, and ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ (Tla-o-qui-aht) First Nations. In the spirit of truth, healing and reconciliation, Cedar Coast Art and Ecology invites all visitors to join us as respectful guests in this unceded Nuu-chah-nulth Ha’huulthii.
